When does a non-resident file French rental income?

How to find the current campaign date and avoid confusing personal and business deadlines.

Direct answer

France publishes a new income-tax campaign calendar each year. A furnished rental under the real regime can also have an earlier business-return step, so the personal online deadline is not the only date to monitor.

Working route

01

Check the current campaign

Use the current impots.gouv.fr non-resident campaign page rather than copying the prior year’s date.

02

Work backwards for a real regime

Allow time to close the accounts and prepare the business return before the personal return imports the result.

03

Keep property declarations separate

The annual occupancy declaration in the property-management service is a separate obligation from reporting rent.

Hard stop

Late, amended or first-time paper returns require a different plan. Do not rely on a generic calendar card for those situations.
