NIE, NIF and access before Modelo 210
The identity and electronic-access facts to settle before preparing the figures.
Direct answer
Modelo 210 requires the taxpayer’s Spanish identification and property data. The electronic procedure supports recognised access methods, but a representative, foreign bank or missing NIF can change the operational route.
Working route
Confirm the taxpayer identity
Match the NIE or NIF, legal name, residence address and ownership percentage to official property and prior tax records.
Choose direct or representative access
Check the official procedure for certificate, Cl@ve or authorised-representative options applicable to the taxpayer.
Test payment compatibility
If payment will come from abroad, verify the permitted route and bank requirements before producing the final declaration.
Hard stop
Do not borrow another owner’s identity or combine joint owners into one taxpayer record. Resolve missing identification or representation authority first.
